Our return policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, unfortunately we cannot offer you a refund or exchange.
You can request a refund for almost any purchase on Computarized, for any reason. Perhaps your PC doesn’t meet the hardware requirements; maybe you bought a game by mistake; maybe you played the title for an hour and you just didn’t like it. The reason is unimportant. Computarized will issue, upon request via [email protected], a refund for any reason, if the request is made within the required return period and, in the case of games, if the title has been played for less than two hours. There are more details below, but even if you don’t comply with the refund rules we’ve outlined, you can still request a refund and we’ll take a look at it.
The purchase price in its entirety will be returned to you within the week following approval. You will receive the refund in Computarized funds or through the same payment method that you used to make the purchase. If, for any reason, Computarized is unable to issue a refund through your initial payment method, Computarized will credit you the full amount. (Some payment methods available through Computarized in your country may not support the return of a purchase to the original form of payment.
Where are refunds applied?
Computarized’s cash back offer, within 15 days of purchase and less than two hours of playtime, applies to games and software applications from the Computarized store. Here’s an overview of how refunds work with other types of purchases.
Downloadable content refunds
(Computarized content usable within another game or software application, “DLC”)
DLC purchased from the Computarized store is refundable within fifteen days of purchase, and if the underlying title has been played for less than two hours since the DLC was purchased, as long as the DLC has not been consumed, modified or transferred. Please note that in some cases, Computarized will not be able to make refunds for some content downloaded from third parties (for example, if the downloaded content irreversibly levels up a character in the game). These exceptions will be clearly marked as non-refundable on the store page prior to purchase.
Refunds on in-game purchases
Computarized will offer a refund for in-game purchases within any game developed by Computarized within forty-eight hours of purchase, as long as the in-game item has not been consumed, modified or transferred. Third-party developers will have the option to allow a refund for in-game items on these terms. Computarized will let you know at the time of purchase if the game developer has chosen to offer refunds for the game item you are purchasing. Otherwise, in-game purchases on non-Computarized games are non-refundable through Computarized.
Refunds of titles purchased in advance
When you purchase a property title on Computarized (and have paid for the title in advance), you can request a refund at any time prior to the release of that title. The standard refund period of 15 days/two hours also applies, starting from the game’s launch date.
You can request a refund of Computarized funds within fifteen days of purchase if they were purchased from Computarized and if you have not used any of those funds.
Within the applicable time frame identified in the Hardware Refund Policy, you may request a refund for Computarized hardware and accessories purchased through Computarized for any reason. You must send the hardware back to us within fifteen (15) days of requesting a refund, following the instructions we provide. You can receive a full refund for any package purchased from the Computarized Store, as long as none of the items in the package have been transferred, and if the combined usage time of all items in the package is less than two hours. If a package includes a non-refundable in-game item or DLC, Computarized will tell you if the entire package is refundable at checkout.
Purchases made outside of Computarized
Computarized cannot offer refunds for purchases made outside of Computarized (for example, Computarized CD keys or wallet cards purchased from third parties).
If you have been banned by the Computarized anti-cheat system in a game, you lose the right to refund that game.
We are unable to offer refunds for video content on Computarized (for example, movies, shorts, series, episodes, and tutorials), unless the video is bundled with other refundable (non-video) content.
Unredeemed gifts can be refunded within the standard 15 day/two-hour refund period. Redeemed gifts can be refunded under the same conditions if the recipient of the gift initiates the refund. The funds used to purchase the gift will be returned to the original purchaser.
Refunds are designed to eliminate the risk of purchasing titles on Computarized, not as a way to get free games. If it seems to us that you are abusing refunds, we may stop offering them to you. We do not consider it an abuse to request a refund for a title that was purchased just prior to a sale
